Team Collaboration

Our team worked well together. We handled gathering information very well. Michael gathered a lot of the information for three of the music eras. Ryan gathered his information for his two real fast and he did an excellent job in doing so. Carlissa gathered up the final two music eras information. She also did most of the coding. The challenges that we faced were when the site did not want to load we had to get together and look at the code until we found where the problem was.

There were some personal challenges as well. Two tragic deaths affected our team members. The father of a friend of Michael's from his church died. He fell off some scaffolding and died when he fell. Also, the one year old son of two of our beloved teachers, Mr. and Mrs. McCombs, died from cancer during March. He had been sick since November. His battle and death affected our whole school.

We also helped each other by trying to help Carlissa when she could not get an image to move from the left side of the screen to get it in the center of the page. We worked very hard on this website and we hope that the information you see from this site will give you a better understanding of the history of music and how people who started the classical period laid the ground work for music to become what it is today.

Team Diversity

There is some socio-economic diversity on this team. Carlissa and Michael qualify under the National School Lunch Program for free (Carlissa) or reduced price (Michael) breakfast and lunch.

In addition, Ryan is 1/2 Filipino.
