Team Collaboration
This year our team worked together to make a website about cliques. Our first day working together, on October 8th, we thought up different ideas for what we wanted our website to be on. It took us a little while for all five of us to agree on a topic to do our website on, but finally, in the end, we were all able to agree on doing our website on cliques. On October 15th, the next time we worked together, we worked on deciding different sub-topics for our website we also decided which people were going to be doing each sub-topic. October 17th was our first day of research. It was a little difficult because we weren’t all able to sit next to each other, but we were able to manage. We also researched information on October 21st, and on November 11th we looked for pictures that we could put on our website. On December 9th we each worked individually to find information for the different sub-topics we were doing. All the other days we had to work on our website were devoted to each of us researching our sub-topics. On February 2nd we all decided together who was going to do which paper for our website, like who was going to do the Diversity paper, the collaboration paper, etc. We are now working together to put the website together. Throughout this entire project our team has worked really well together to make an amazing website.
Team Diversity
Our group works really well together, maybe because we’re all girls. We have over come challenges by putting all of our ideas together and coming up with a solution. Diversity in our group is not a big issue because we are all friends. Sidney is the sporty girl; she plays soccer and field hockey. Alyssa, Tina and Daisy are the entertainer’s because they make everyone laugh. Then there’s me, Arielle I guess I’m the giggly girly-girl who’s like a drama queen and a princess. I am a very happy person when it comes to my personal life. In our group we learned to accept each other by respecting each other and giving motivation. We use our knowledge to overcome tasks and develop new skills. We can get new ideas from our work and give each other pointers. We are all very different from our personalities to our culture and heritage. But we can overcome our problems and do our best to succeed.
