A Look Back

"A Look Back" is a project created by Edilcia S. and Maricela B., two sixth grade bilingual students. Their project is a review of what they thought were the most important events in the United States during the Twentieth Century. Each decade is divided into History, Art, Technology and Miscellaneous. Edilcia and Maricela also included a page that allowed the users of their website to communicate with them. Users can give them feedback on their project as well as add to their site. Educational Objectives: The students will: a) express and interpret information and ideas; b) use appropriate instruments, electronic equipment, computers and networks to access information, process ideas and communicate results; c) learn and contribute productively as individuals and as members of groups; d) recognize and apply connections of important information and ideas within and among learning areas; and e) better understand events, trends, and personalities in local, state, national and world history.
