This site gives an in-depth look at the lives of twelve of the most influential artists of the Renaissance, such as Botticelli, Giotto, and Raphael. You can find biographies of their lives and copies of their most important works of art. There is also a wonderful Italian Renaissance Overview. The best part of this site is that students can actually look at the paintings as if they were in a museum.
