Bandhani has an important traditional place in Jodhpur. Bandhani dresses are worn in all auspicious ocassions. The color of bandhani worn also tells the community the person belings to. Every festival has a different bandhani pattern.
Through this website, we have tried to bring forth the technique and patterns of bandhani.

Team Collaboration
The Team decided to work on this project because Bandhani is a very popular cottage industry in Jodhpur. The etam visited factories and learned the technique. They also visited the local market to collect designs.
Team Diversity
1. Mukesh
Mukesh is the soul of this website. His sister was doing a diploma course in Tie & Dye. He observed his sister's workand got so interested in tie and dye that he came up with the idea of making this website. Mukesh studies in class X and is appearing in his Board Examinations. In spite of the heavy burden of academics, he managed to give fair enough input for this site.
2. Arvind
Arvind is a student of class IX. He is very good at language arts. The file made by Mukesh's sister was in Hindi. Arvind did most of the translation work.
3. Monika
Monika is Arvind's classmate. She is a talented student. She too, helped Arvind in translation work. She also woked on Techniques of tie and dye.
4. Ms. Ratna Pathak
The coach, Ms. Ratna Pathak, teaches English. All the above team members are her students. She helped the team with organizing the content and editing the translated work. She also guided the technical part of the website.
