Team Collaboration

Five of our group members deal with diving, especially scuba diving. So we wanted to design a website about underwater creatures and diving, to share our underwater photos. Sera is good in using software. She worked in the site designing and graphic programs. She prepared the site buttons, titles and flash movies and with Esra she prepared the "Sharks" page and fish types page. Esra scuba dives and she brought us some photos of her underwater experience. Her dad has an aquarium and a website about it. She prepared the "Ship Wrecks" page and she also made the "Did you know?" page partially. Dila and Esra Çiğdem scuba dive too. They worked on the scuba diving page and the "Did you know?" page with Esra. They put their underwater photos too. Also they mentioned about how to save oceans. They found some information about sea pollution. Elif took photos of the aquariums around the world. She helped Sera with the buttons and the Fish Types page. Also she made printable puzzles and drawings of fish. Güneş participated in our group later than the other members. So she only helped us in the science fair with all other student in our group. Every year our school organizes a science fair. We presented our project in this fair. We designed an attractive bulletin board about underwater. Güneş brought her fish to the fair. We explained other students about underwater and attracted their attention on sea pollution. We showed the rough draft of our web site. We gave student activities on underwater. We took a video about our fish dance and showed it there. We put the science fair photos in the site. While we were doing this we had a lot of fun and learned good and useful information about underwater life and diving. We also learned that the population must care about marine life and be more respectful. We got the chance to share this information with the other people from around the world by this web site. We hope this site will help people think about the ocean and underwater creatures and stop polluting it.

Team Diversity

We are all in the same school and we are all the same age. This makes us work better. We study in a private school and our English is very well so this really helped us with the project. Our cultures are not different from each other. Our mainly reason of picking this topic is because of most of us scuba dive and we all love the sea! We can communicate and go to other countries easily so we learned about the sea and oceans of other countries. We visited aquariums around the world and took many photos. Three of us have scuba licenses so we saw many underwater creatures at their natural habitat. When we dive it's like we are in a different world. We feel the adrenalin. Some of us visited aquariums around the world like in America, Spain or China and we also dived in The Red Sea, Florida and of course in Turkey. We saw different fish and marine creatures. These facts gave us the idea to create and design this web site.
