This website offers a fully detailed and interactive learning experience of the Kramats, or holy shrines, of the Western Cape region in South Africa. The site provides the visitor with a thorough understanding of the history of Kramats in the Western Cape as well as the historical significance that the Kramats occupy in the area. Clickable maps show the viewer where Kramats can be found in the Western Cape. Photo galleries of all the known Kramats in the area puts the shrines on display to an audience that might otherwise never have the opportunity of personally visiting the grave and for people of other faiths who may not know of its existence.
