To light a candle of peace.

2009
Development ang peace have been being the two main subjects of the world. But wars are still the most terrible thing in the world nowdays. In this project, I want to arouse the awareness of history and peace life. I want people to know that if the world was in peace, children everywhere can grow happily, people from all over the world could communicate with each other more freely! The students may get information from history books, movies, Internet and so on. They may just have a discussion about a question, or show us some pictures, it doesn't matter. Anyway, what I want is their own opinion. We love peace and we are eager for it! Let's light a candle of peace and love! Let's pray for everyone who has ever suffered from wars.

Team Collaboration

The members of this team got together two months ago to discuss the

project – Light a candle of peace. And then they focused on it in the 2 months . For the first meeting I just meant to make them learn about our initial purpose, in which they go over the items and clean up the list for this project. But things didn't go as I planned there. I mean this project and also this thinkquest website are a little difficult for them. However, they didn’t give it up. Everyone in the team tried his best to get information and ideas about how to make this project better. They always work together to work out a plane, and then everyone had to get one point done. Of couse, they are not the best, even they aren’t very good at writing and edit something in English, but they managed to do it at last. I’m so proud of them, and I’m sure they can do better next year.

Team Diversity

They are from two different schools, and the girl called Songxi Jin is from Korea. They have their own ideas about the world, but the have one same dream about the world --- PEACE!!

Yes, sometimes they can't agree others opinion about wars, but after their debate, they always get the same idea -- that is we just have one earth, we are all global villagers. I learnt so much from them, so I want to say "thank you" to them! I'm so proud of them!
