Team Collaboration
Team division:
We separate our team into two groups according to the contents of activities and facts,Those groups fulfill different jobs:
The 1st group:
Qihl qi: Instructor is mainly responsible for team registry,advise team members to formulate activity plans, help to contact on-spot survey, help to contact experts to give lectures and to be interviewed for the team members
Yieyangw:Group leader is responsible for formulating activity plans, organize and coordinate group members to participate organize activities.
Jingbom and Xinzic and ziyin: group member, carry out research based on the project. Participate all activities.
The 2nd group:
Ms zhu: assistant coach, help student to communicate in English, instruct the 2nd group to carry out exchange activities on the platform.
Yuepengw: vice group leader, help group leader to formulate team activity plan, organize and coordinate team member of the 2nd group to look up, to classify.
YJijie z: team member, carry out research based on the project, responsible for looking up, classifying and summarizing relative data.
Problems and solutions:
1. Because team members are from two different schools, we decide material that looked up by the 2nd group serves as the direction to the activities of the 1st group members; activities that the 1st group carried out verify what the 2nd group had looked up. Make theories direct practice, practice verifies theories; realize that knowledge stems from life, and serves life.
2. We are obsessed for a long time by two problems: first, there are 150km from Xining to Qinghai Lake, and no bus between; second, Qinghai Lake is a big tourist attraction of which the ticket price is 100 RMB. A teammate’s father is very interested in our project and provide us with the bus for free. Another teammate’s father provides us with free tickets through multilateral negotiations. We are affected by the fortitude and happiness, by the earnest attitude of the experts, and by the parents love for us. What we got is not only the knowledge.
3. Because our English level is low, We invite an English teacher Ms.Zhu as our assistant coach to guide our translation. We ask help from relatives, friends and e-friends around us. Our activities, thinkquest.org and the Oracle become talking when people meet, and become the hot discuss topic among e-friends in the QQ groups. Our team is not the only one that gains from the activities.
Team Diversity
Our team members are from two schools, five of us are from one school, and other three are from another. Our strong points are different. Main coach qihl qi is wide in social network, he can invite experts who can give us lecture and who can be interviewed, and he can arrange on-spot survey, experiment equipments and place for us; Assistant coach is English teacher, she can guide our translation; jieyangw and yuepengw are strong in organizing capacity, they are good at organizing and coordinating work; yuepengw and xinzic are full of ideas, they provide lots of contents of our activities. Jingbom and ziyinz are hard working, it’s necessary for a team; jijiezis good at web, he found lots of references for us. We believe a team that organized by eight studious and enthusiastic staffs will achieve victory.
