Conflict in the Everglades

2000
There is a conflict in the Everglades, a very endangered ecosystem. Our site investigates the problems that exist in the Everglades, why the problems have occurred, and what is being done to help resolve the problems. It explains the points of view of the various participants in the matter: agriculture, environmentalists, environmental agencies, Miccosukee Indians, development, Army Corps of Engineers, and the South Florida Water Management District. It also makes people aware of the Everglades National Park and some of the animals that are apart of it. By looking at the pictures, viewers can get an idea of the beauty of the River of Grass and why it is worth preserving.
