In the team, the coach and the assistant coach will mainly instruct the students, help them to undergo a meaningful learning experience and guide them to think actively. The team members, however, will understand and help each other among themselves. They will not only participate in various assignments but also think actively, putting forward valuable promising proposals or opinions. Each member has his or her own strength, and they will cooperate and understand each other so well that everyone can turn up with their best performance, hence maximizing the project achievements.
Their successful cooperation will be represented by: First, they can form a solid team and carry out active and effective investigative learning. Second, they can communicate and interact actively among themselves. Third, while vigorously building their knowledge, they can develop distinctive learning attitudes and value experience.
It's necessary to give some special comments about our captain (monitor) and recording secretary. The monitor has fully exhibited his strong points in the project, whose organizing and coordination work has been brilliant. At times, he put forward some novel, perfectly feasible and simple proposals, contributing significantly to the merits of the activities. The recorder, on the other hand, made a detailed and informative record of all discussions and resolutions of the team, based on which the team carried on the tasks in an efficient way.
The team is made up of students from two different districts: 4 students from Guchengtai Primary School and another one from Mafang Primary School. Guchengtai Primary School is situated in the more prosperous western district of Xining. This district is an academic, cultural, and education center, where schooling is highly appreciated. The school has good teaching facilities and the students all live in downtown areas. However, Mafang Primary School is in the northern proper （suburban area） of Xining, where teaching conditions are relatively unfavorable with most students living in the countryside.
The involvement of two schools in the project will promote exchanges between schools from downtown and rural areas. The kids from both schools can help, understand and interact with each other, strengthening their friendship and growing together. This can be noticed on the project pages. The students have made any effort to overcome many difficulties to carry out this project. One student of Guchengtai Primary School, who is born of the Mongolian minority and has just transferred from Inner Mongolia, is a stranger in Qinghai. He has learned a lot about Qinghai through participating in the activities.
