First we formed the team of six pupils from one class and two coaches, got acquainted with the competition and its rules. We agreed about the category, which one to do and enrolled in the competition. We made up the schedule, the students chose their leader who divided the tasks and responsibilities among the team members and the work started.
The students worked very collaboratively, did not only their own tasks, but helped each other too. Working on the project helped them to develop different skills: using IC tools, independent and cooperative work, communicative skills,etc.What’s more, it was their first project done in English, so they tried to use accurate English. They gained experience in interviewing people, making up questionnaires.
Of course, we had some problems and challenges to overcome. The first was when we weren’t able to receive the gift sent by Oracle Education Foundation because of the tax payment rule in our country. So my students had to finish the project without any good software tools.
Secondly, the local educational organization which informed us about the competition is still being reorganized, so they couldn’t help us in this or that way.
Finally, the main problem was the internet service which has often been switched off in our country lately. But my students were determined to complete the project despite the difficulties and they did their best to accomplish it.
And I’m very proud of them, as this is our first participation in such kind of project, we haven’t had any experience before. I hope that you will enjoy our web-site and will appreciate my students’ work.
We don't have Team Diversity.All the members of our team are of the same nationality,we follow the same religion.Even more,as we have mentioned in our narrative the team members study in the same class,so they are classmates and great friends.
