The site is about Slavery in Brazil, which began in the early XVIth Century and ended with the abolition in 1888.The site focuses on conditions which the Africans were brought to Brazil to work; people who stimulated slave traffic and slave punishment and resistance. There issome information about the way African people, half of the Brazilian population, still have to fight against discrimination, a heritage from slavery times.
