Language is a medium of communication. Different languages are spoken by people in different parts of the world. Of all the languages , only English has been accepted as the international language . We , as a team, made a detailed study of the English language right from its origin and development , to the present day usage and were amazed by the richness and flexibility of the language. Our endeavour here is to give the reader a cohesive and comprehensive account of the dimensions of the English language. We feel that this can be used as an effective teaching aid in schools where English is taught as a foreign language . This site can be used by parents for references and by teachers and students as an effective class room tool / lesson plan . We hope it gives the reader a sense of satisfaction of viewing the language in its multi- faceted and multi -farious dimensions. SO , GO ON , PLUNGE INTO THE OCEAN OF ENGLISH , AND COME OUT WITH THE PERALS OF KNOWEDGE !!!
