Journey Through the Middle Ages with James the Jingling Jester
1998
"Journey Through the Middle Ages with James the Jingling Jester" will provide the user with the opportunity to discover more about life in the Middle Ages including feudalism and society; castle life and structure; castle defense; education; jobs and trades. Our site provides the learner with two ways to seek information: conventional reading via topics and the exploration method by clicking on image maps followed by brief information pieces. Our site reinforces map skills as learners use a map key to select desired rooms in the castle to explore. Finally, the user will learn appropriate navigation skills as our site incorporates the use of scroll bars, image maps, and simple icons.
