Deaf Culture and Sign Languages of the Global Village

1997
Deaf communities are extremely tightly-knit worlds that exist to preserve friendships and facilitate interaction. Sign language can be very efficient and even people who come from different regions of the world are able to communicate using signs. Information on sign languages all over the world, and links to many informative sites, provide a window into deaf culture.
