Team Collaboration
The team comprises of five pupils and Liang Shi Yi is the leader. The other members include Ryan Chan, Nathanael, Chng Kai Xiang and Benedict Khoo.
Nathanael, Kai Xiang and Benedict are mainly involved in the gathering information while Kai Xiang and Ryan are creators of the powerpoint slides. The animation is produced by Shi Yi.
Problem that we have faced is shortage of time. The animation production takes up about half of the time spent for the entire project. Most of us are roped in to help in gathering of materials and resources. The powerpoint is checked and edited for mistakes on several occasions.
Team Diversity
In this project, the main sources of information are mainly internet based websites and books. The challenge that we faced is mainly how to siphon relevant information.
As most of us are Asians, we always felt that the western perspectives on mythical creatures like dragons usually evil. But in information from the asian continent sees dragons as celestial figures that are worshipped along with gods as they bring good fortune to people.
To conclude, this project allows us to understand indirectly the culture between the east and the west. Mythical creatures do play an important role in shaping our beliefs and cultures.
