School Of The Future 2

Our project is on ideas for the school of the future. We banded together to brainstorm on what we would imagine as the school of the future. We have a design, structure, and many ideas for the running of our school. Through a complex mix of advanced materials, creative curriculum, and the use of some of the Nation's brightest young minds, we have succeeded in designing the school of the future, today. After nearly non-stop work for weeks, we have made astounding breakthroughs in Research and Development. We have done advanced research into the possibilities just out of our reach, and farther away as well. After finding that there are amazing materials like see-through metal already available to us today, we wanted too share our ideas with the world. We have brought together ideas into this essay. We think that the future is nearer every day, so we should accelerate forwards, pooling the world's efforts into advanced research, and trying to make a better world for our children and grandchildren. From clean energy practices to safer structures, we are moving ahead every day. Though it may be hard, we can pull the United States and the world out of this rut we drug ourselves through. As the famous Tom Hanks once said, "From now on we live in a world where man has walked on the Moon. It's not a miracle; we just decided to go." That is enough to prove to us that anything is possible. We are the nation's children and we say enough is enough. If what it takes is effort, we must work harder. If what it takes knowledge, we will be smarter. If what it takes is strength, we will be stronger! If it takes time, so be it. But we will grow stronger, be smarter, work harder and faster, and most of all, we will prevail! The school of the future is just a stepping stone in the great path of life. As Mr.Obama once said, "Yes We Can!" We will do what it takes, however hard. Though it may seem miniscule, this project just spreads hope. Hope for advancement. Hope for progress. And most of all, hope for the future!

Team Collaboration
Though our team had many arguments, through a mix of nearly non-stop work and a creative "guide" (Gordon), we have actually managed to finish this project on time and without a crime. To use an old metaphor, our project team is a family. With Gordon as the older Child, Jacey as the middle child, and Angelina as the youngest, work-wise. The real creativity and genius resonates outwards from the older child. The "guide" of the group helped to push the rest of the group onwards towards conflict resolution. Though the youngest and oldest may argue, the middle child serves as a barrier between the others. Though the older child did all of the group work, the middle and youngest children worked hard on their personal sites. This metaphor is used purely as an aid for the mind, and is under no circumstances to be seen as cruel. All in all, the teamwork of our group was quite lacking, as two of the members cannot get along. This may be true about teamwork, but overall, our group worked together well enough to accomplish this goal. This project has made friends of enemies, enemies of friends, and changed the balance of friendships altogether. This project did not work as well as intended in this sense, though, because our class was the supposed smart-yet-socially-horrible class. The project was in part supposed to rectify that, but it instead caused us to create a bitter hatred of each other and spend our out of school time working, not socializing. As I have said, our teamwork was lacking, but it got the job done in the end.
Team Diversity
Our team had many different facets, which made a clear imprint on the work we produced. Though I (Gordon) had many beliefs such as atheism that other members of the team did not, my differences did not often come into play. My socio-politic views were present in my parts of the narrative project, however other members of the group's pages were not as such. For instance, in pages about science, a firm Christian may put something positive about god in science, whereas I may put something negative. But seeing as I did not write the science section of this essay, it did not come into play. On the flip-side, though, where my group members could have utilized their (may I add, irrelevant) belief system to make an argument for their celestial belief to be present in science. In my case it was irrelevant, but in their cases, it was more of a problem in actually incorporating these beliefs. Though we come from different beginnings, my group has not made a clear way of expressing this. Also, the fact withstanding that the aforementioned strong hatred was still present, the work may seem to come one viewpoint, as most of it was heavily influenced by me. And those arguments were generally won by me, as I am considered to be more knowledgeable than some of my other group-mates. Considering that I am often fond of wordplay, while some others struggle with even the simplest of sentences, the parts written by me may seem to be slightly more advanced in the level of comprehension required to understand them than other group-mates'.
