Unity in Diversity Our entry looks at the role of national symbols in uniting all the peoples of a country like South Africa, where there are so many differences. We look at unsual symbolism in general and its importance in everyday life. South Africa has a new Coat of Arms and the emphasis is on it. BSince people's responses to national symbols are on an emotional level, we invited them to give us their response to the new South AFrican Coat of Arms.
