Blast Off Books is a web site dedicated to children and reading. This site looks at children as future authors as well as readers. Here kids can find out how their favorite authors rank among others by taking an on-line poll. They can find links to their favorite authors, illustrators and education games that will help the with spelling, vocabulary and parts of speech. Children can read stories both fiction and non-fiction by children in their own age froups. Kids here can have the experience of submitting their own original stories and have them published on the web site. On Blast Off Books kids will see that their opinions matter when they read book reviews by other children and email their book reviews to the team to be posted.
