Our web site, "Blending In and Staying Special," was designed to present a different approach to learning about the human body. This site presents seven major body systems. The organs involved in each system are explained and their role in the body is presented. Along the journey through the human body, students not only will learn facts about their body, but will also learn new words and interesting facts. The story of an organ donor and an organ recipient are presented. Facts and information about the transplant and donation process are provided as a means of increasing the awareness of this process.
