Etiquette

2001
The project "Etiquette" is the reflection of our conception of etiquette as a social science. We believe there are misunderstandings about what etiquette is about. We think people have the misconception that etiquette is about rules to make their lives more difficult and limit their actions. We believe the true aim of etiquette is to help all people of all lifestyles get along with each other. Etiquette is a wide and complex topic. We begin our project by giving users interesting facts from the History of Etiquette to get a general idea of the topic. In our opinion, Table Etiquette (table manners, table arrangement, how to eat meals with others) is one of the most important and contemporary issues of etiquette. Our conception of etiquette is a wide ranging one. We also regard etiquette as a special social language and have included a section on Body Language and a new science called kinesics. The rebus, tests, amusing artworks and photos, the design and a sense of humor give a lighthearted attitude to a subject that often becomes heavyhanded. The information is presented in condensed form and the interesting facts will enrich your knowledge.
