The word "movie/film" is usually elaborated as a form of amusement or entertainment. However, we seem to forget that filmmaking is actually a form of art. In some countries, including our Hong Kong, we find that drama or rather, filmmaking, is not categorized as a school subject. Thus, we hope that schools and teachers will find filmmaking another chance for students to learn the importance of organization and cooperation and encourage students to participate more in drame. We would like to introduce filmmaking to students and teachers, and we have prepared a few topics like the history, the production, oscars, special effects and we even have a quiz and an online contest for students to participate in.
