All over the world people have to make economical decisons day by day. There are politicians, heads of companies but also the ordinary consumer who bring about decisions. All involved persons have one aim only: to increase their own advantage. Here, the game theory tries to develop mathematical methods to analyse rational conflict situations.

PC Calculus is a website design to prepare our users for the advanced placement exam. Included in this site are calculator programs, calculus review, and advance placement practice test.
About this site
2000
This website provides it users with interactive and concise lessons on limits, differentiation, and integration. Users are able to skip to desired topics, or go through all of the lessons on one subject. At the end of these lessons, there are some sample problems that test the skills that they have learned in the previous lessons.

This site features basic calculus theorems reviewed and explained with examples given. This is a good review for AP AB Calculus or Calculus reference site.
About this site
2000
Our entry is about the basics of differential calculus. It is aimed at the students whose study is relevant to higher or applied mathematics. We have divided it into several categories, which are, limits, derivatives and applications besides an introduction containing the preliminaries and a part about those people who contributed in constructing the science of Calculus. Each of these sections was explained by means of definitions, theorems and examples. We tried to clarify some principles and theorems using animations and graphics. In addition, we put the 'Random Computer Problems', which is an interactive section that gives the user computer-generated problems of variable levels of difficulty. The section gives the user a method to try himself with some of the most common problem ideas. While the site was made inte form of a syllabus, it was designed to easily access from one part to another. Therefore it can be useful to someone whosearches for a specific point. The first deals with the limits and the continuity of a function. The second part is about differentiation and its different rules. We then made a third section explaining different applications of differentiation.

This site looks at the second degree equations and some of the possible links with other subjects of knowledge. The first section begins with defining a second degree equation, how to solve it, the Bhaskara4s formula and the representation of this equation as a parabola. The parabole, as a rethoric figure, will be mentioned and some links with artistic works will end our site.

The web site is intended to inform and educate the user about logs and their uses. The educational objectives are that the user will: learn about the origins of logarithms, learn the rules for their use, see examples and then work through questions, appreciate the significance of logarithms by reading about their applications
About this site
1996
This site provides an overview of physics, chemistry, and calculus for the college-bound high school student. In-depth tutorials on the three subject areas and instructions for taking the Calculus Advanced Placement exam (along with an interactive sample exam) make this site a good study aid. Sample problems in each area include answers and tutorials. This site is definitely for the more serious-minded science/math student.
