Chess (International and Bughouse)

1999
Our website is about international chess and another type of chess called bughouse chess. Our site attempts to introduce chess to beginners and intermediate chess players. We have information about the fundamentals of international chess, such as useful ideas governing openings, middlegames and endings. Also, we have a section on bughouse chess (which is quite different from the actual game of chess) whereby we show people the rules and strategies of this game. Therefore, our chess site aims to introduce to users the areas specified above. Doing this, we hope to "recruit" more people to the game of chess, by showing how interesting a game it is. We also hope to change the mindset of those who may think that it is a boring game which takes up a lot of time. Maybe by introducing chess to these people, we can change their lives by giving them some thing that they really enjoy doing - playing chess.
