Indonesia, as a multicultural country has many different culture in its regions. So we are highly interested in showing a unique part of the reality life in Indonesia. Laskar Pelangi is a story based on the real life of Andrea Hirata. He shares his journey of life, started from being a poor student in Belitong Island in Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Muhammadiyah Junior High School, and Muhammadiyah Senior High School. Then, he moved to Jakarta and continued his school in University of Indonesia, Universite de Paris Sorbonne (France) and Sheffield Hallam University (UK). His beautiful story tells the readers about the beauty of friendship and the love of his teacher which encourage him to reach his dream. The story also describe the custom of Belitongs people at the early 70's. The situation there shows the gap between the locals and the exclusive Tin Mining community.

Here the students explain their web site to users and welcome them. The second part is called "Four Books" and in this part the students review four different books about turtles every month.
