"The World of Nanotechnology" explores the science and potential of miniaturization, molecules, atoms and their use. The site includes interviews with experts around the U.S., an historical overview, a glossary, online resources and a fun zone site. Site visitors can learn the basics of nanotechnology that will enable them to further explore this exciting and emerging science.

Atoms Amok explores the often untold tale of how nuclear technologies--namely nuclear power and nuclear weapons--have molded our present society. Through various events, our society has developed complex technologies based on the simple principles behind the beautiful atom. Our society has exploited the mischievous atom, and has had some rather close calls; nevertheless, the atom has had a major impact on our civilization. Such events include the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki; the Cold War; and the development of nuclear power, including the devastating accidents at Three Mile Island and Chernobyl. The main goal of our site is to provide students the ability to explore very important topics that may ultimately determine the fate of our planet-topics that we have, oddly enough, found absent from the curriculum of several schools.

Two views fo the world are explored: the Major Wporld: Astronomy,; the Minor World: Atomic Structure... two interfering worlds, one minor world living in another major one: The solar system as a major world with planets rotating around the sun, and the atom as a minor world with electrons rotating around the nucleus. One relation proving they both have one creator to act as a servant to the mankind, illustrated with similarities and differences between them.

Radio-Repair provides a safe and effective solution to radiation exposure. Many individuals are exposed to radiation, but not in harmful levels. But if someone were in a position to receive a lethal exposure to radiation then Radio-Repair would offer a safe alternative. This project examines the history of radiation exposure, the present technology that addressess exposure and also projects a technology for 20 years in the future to deal effectively with radiation exposure.

In this web site, you will learn about how radioactivity works, the effects of radioactivity and the different uses of radioactivity. Or you could read about the lives of famous personalities that have shaped the world of radioactivity. Try your handds on our game, and please do voice your thoughts about radioactivity in our Forum page.

The world's first experienced atomic energy in the form of an extremely destructive force. The invisible force still haunts people and scares many. 1 kg uranium gives 40 million times more energy than 1 kg coal, and it is safe if we listen to the laws of physics. The biggest uncertainty-factor of atom reactors, the source of any deficiency, is man. If we know how it is works, we can use it right and we have no fear.

The World of Nuclear Science is an online educational resource that allows users to learn about nuclear science. Topics covered include nuclear science applications, the history and development of nuclear concepts, and atomic theory. Included on the site also is information about various modern nuclear issues including nuclear arms proliferation and radioactive waste disposal. The information on these issues is non-political and consequently gives visitors a chance to form their own opinions.
The World of Nuclear Science is targeted for those who have little knowledge about science, and is written in a style that will be helpful to all. It is not intended to be a comprehensive guide, but rather as a starting point for users interested about nuclear science.

We are a group of 3 students from the southern most tip of Africa. Our goal is to give students an interactive training session on Radioactivity, its origin, and its uses. After a search on the world wide web, we have found that there are very few sites explaining wat radioactivity really is... from the very beginning. We solved that by creating our site, Radioactivity : a new dimension. This exercise served not only the learners of today, but also guided us in our quest to enrich our own knowledge in the field of science and all its wonders.
