Rex Rampage

2001
Rex Rampage is designed to expose children in grades 4 through 6 to dinosaurs of the Cretaceous Period, highlighting Tyrannosaurus Rex, the great fossil find of paleontologist, Sue Hendrickson. The capsulized information and appealing illustrations give users a glimpse of what dinosaurs may have been like during the period and how they ultimately became extinct. An entire section is devoted to "A Day with Sue Hendrickson" at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu, complete with photos of "Sue T-rex" fossils on exhibit and hands-on activities that four of our team members had the good fortune to experience. Dinosaurs Online

1999
This project was an optional way to do their research project. This project incorporates the 3 "T's" - what some say has replaced the 3 "R's" in education. Those 3 "T's" are Technology, Teamwork and Thinking. In order to be successful in thisday and age, students must be adept at all three. The parents of my students, as well as the technology department of my district, are in wholehearted support of these objectives. In addition to the skills the students have learned, the parents of my students also feel that their children have learned very valuable, life-long lessons as well.
