The purpose for this website was to collect data from adolescent girls. The instrument we used (survey) asked girls to identify themselves by ethnicity, religion, age, and to check some common ways we thought moms might embarrass them. We asked girls to identify if their moms embarrassed them and to rate how embarrassing she is on a scale of 1-10.
