Search for People in Your School
You can find ThinkQuest Projects members in your school by accessing the My School page. You can then visit their personal pages and send them messages.
To search for a member in your school:
- Click the My School tab.
- Enter a name in the search field at the top of the page and click Search.
- Under the "People" section, click the name of a member to visit his/her personal pages.
Below are some additional ways to find members from the My School page:
- People Online: Members who have been logged in to ThinkQuest Projects within the past five minutes are listed under "People Online."
- Hot Hits: Members whose pages have received the most visits within the past 24 hours are listed under "Hot Hits."
- School Directory: Click People in the menu on the left to browse a directory of all the members in your school. You can use the drop-down menus to filter by name, grade level, or login activity.
Search for People Outside Your School
You can find ThinkQuest Projects adult members from all over the world by accessing the World page. You can then visit their personal pages and send them messages.
Note the following restrictions:
- Members from schools that have access to the World Community can visit the personal pages of and send messages to any other adult member, except for adult members from schools that don't have access to the World Community.
- Members from schools that do not have access to the World Community can only visit the personal pages of and send messages to members in their own school.
- Students and adults with access to the World Community cannot search for students outside of their own school. Members may only search for students in their own school.
To search for an adult member (teacher, School Administrator, or Organization Moderator) outside your school:
- Click the World tab.
- Enter a name in the search field at the top of the page and click Search.
- Under the "People" section, click the name of a member to visit his/her personal pages.
Below are some additional ways to find adult members from the World page:
- People Online: Adult members who have been logged in to ThinkQuest Projects within the past five minutes are listed under "People Online."
- Schools Online: Schools who have at least one adult member online are listed under "Schools". Click the name of a school to visit it. Then, click People in the menu on the left to browse a directory of adult members in the school.
- Visit a School: Under "Schools", click the "All Schools" link to navigate to a directory of all schools in the ThinkQuest Projects community (including schools who do not currently have members online). Browse by country and click the name of a school to visit it. Then, click People in the menu on the left to browse a directory of adult members in the school.
