Entry Requirements
Make sure students are aware of the following requirements and restrictions before they begin creating their entry:
- Review the entry requirements listed in the Rules. Violation of any requirements may result in disqualification.
- All entry content must be created within your team's project in ThinkQuest Projects. No portion of entry content may be hosted externally, including videos and games.
- If you upload files to the project, be sure to upload only acceptable files types. See the Create & Manage Content section of Help for more information.
Create Entry
Your team's entry consists of the collection of pages and content created in the team project in ThinkQuest Projects. Student team members must create all entry content within this project. Students can use any of the online publishing tools offered by ThinkQuest Projects, including the Write tools, Upload tools, and Interact tools.
A project can contain up to 25 pages, and each page can contain up to 10 content items.
To create pages and content in your team project:
- Click the Competition tab.
- Click the name of the appropriate team under My Teams.
- Use the standard page tools to create and manage project pages.
- Use the standard content tools (Write tools, Upload tools, Interact tools) to add content items to each page. Projects may include any multimedia components that ThinkQuest Projects supports.
Preview Entry
Preview your entry to see how it will appear to ThinkQuest Judges. The preview also shows what your project will look like if it is published in the ThinkQuest Library.
To preview your entry:
- Click the Competition tab.
- Click the Preview Entry link under the name of the appropriate team in the My Teams list.
Be sure to preview your entry well in advance of the Entry Submission Deadline, so that you have sufficient time to resolve any problems.
