The following sample lessons illustrate how ThinkQuest Projects can be used to meet curricular and technology standards. Note that you must be logged in to ThinkQuest Projects to view these lessons.
ThinkQuest Projects - Sample Projects
The following example projects can be conducted at the elementary, middle, or high school level. Note that you must be logged in to ThinkQuest Projects to view these projects.
- Sugar: Friend or Foe? (Elementary School)
Students learn about the sources and effects of sugar. Then, they design a survey about sugar for their peers and use the resulting data to create online guides about sugar.
- Water in Our Lives (Middle School)
Students learn about fresh water resources and create online presentations to address how they can reduce stresses on fresh water availability at home and at school.
- Can We Use Resources Sustainably? (High School)
Students learn about sustainable resources and create online presentations with their recommendations for resource use.
